MEET PASTOR DALTON HANEY

Dalton was called to Lake Talquin Baptist as Senior Pastor at the beginning of 2024.

Although he grew up in a Southern Baptist household, God found and saved him in high school and radically transformed his life. When faced with several options for his future after high school, God directed him to The Baptist College of Florida where he graduated with a Pastoral Ministry degree in 2016. Further impacted with the need for ministerial education, Dalton attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he received a Master of Divinity degree in Apologetics in 2022. 

For ten years, Dalton served faithfully as Associate Pastor of Worship and Family ministries of Church at Southwood in Tallahassee, Florida. He was privileged to marry his wonderful wife Beth in 2016, and they have two children, Ellie and Sammy.

Dalton enjoys playing various instruments at varying levels of proficiency, as well as hunting, fishing, and even martial arts. He is passionate about the Florida State Seminoles and Tennessee Volunteers football teams. Most of all, Dalton seeks to be a faithful servant of God.
