Dalton Haney
Pastor
Dalton was called to Lake Talquin Baptist as Senior Pastor at the beginning of 2024. For ten years, Dalton served faithfully as Associate Pastor of Worship and Family ministries of Church at Southwood in Tallahassee, Florida. He was privileged to marry his wonderful wife Beth in 2016, and they have two children, Ellie and Sammy. Dalton enjoys playing various instruments at varying levels of proficiency, as well as hunting, fishing, and even martial arts. He is passionate about the Florida State Seminoles and Tennessee Volunteers football teams. Most of all, Dalton seeks to be a faithful servant of God.
Janet Freeman
Music Director
Jan joined the Lake Talquin family in 1995, and has been a vital part of the Music Ministry since then. She has served both in the choir and assisted on the Piano. In 2008 Janet accepted the position of Interim Music Director and has successfully led us since. In 2012 she transitioned our worship into a Blended Style where we incorporate both praise as well as traditional hymns in a variety of musical accompaniment. It is hard to please everyone but Jan keeps us focused on what’s most important, Christ Jesus. Jan is married to Harvey and together they have two children and six grandchildren.
Nicole Clevinger
Administrative Assistant
Nicole joined the staff as Administrative Assistant in September of 2021. Nicole accepted Christ as her Savior at twelve years of age and was Baptized in 1988. Nicole, being married to a Preacher, understands the importance of the work she performs for the Kingdom of God. Her dedication is to maintain the flow of administrative work and scheduling so that Pastor Dalton may focus upon the spiritual needs of the Church, ministerial programs, and community outreach. She and her husband CJ have five children and eleven grandchildren.
